Alright big reason the train beats flying: ran into some people on the Borealis that I sorta knew and sat with them. Not being belted in and having space, folks were switching around the whole way socializing, got to know familiar faces better. Can't do that squeezed in like tinned fish!

All of my appointments/activities yesterday were skyway accessible, and you could visibly see the haze inside some office buildings. City Center and IDS seem too leaky and their HVAC cannot keep their atrium/skyway levels clear. Kinda sucks even the indoors aren't safe from this muck.

I have a PM2.5 monitor in my apartment for *reasons,* and usually my HVAC and air purifier can keep it at 0.0 µg/m³ unless I'm cooking. For two days now it's been bouncing between 5.0-8.0 µg/m³ because this wildfire smoke is just too much to keep up.
