The result looks vaguely like some deconstructed / cubism face, and the funny part is that the model goes on to suggest that the SVG can be used for "educational purposes, anatomical reference, or as a base for further artistic works"

2024 was a year of endings for me. I stopped using tools like Twitter which have been central to my life and career. I stopped consuming sources of news that I've consumed for decades. These things ache sometimes like lost limbs. I think that maybe a lot of us are in this vibe, together but alone

Svelte v5 is what React should've been.

The Verge is shitty journalism no matter how many readers it has. Some stuff is good, but their spicier takes verge on (badumtss) tabloid gossip and thinly veiled editorial agendas. Much like techbros pretend that their opinions are valid in fields they don't understand.

Sick, would you be cool sharing the costs for JLC fabrication with the esp32 placement? I've thought about doing keyboard PCBs this way (with microcontroller surface mounted to PCB instead of daughter board)

I know there are some esp32-C3/C6 packages with a similar footprint as the one you used

My guess is that we would have an easier time uploading images that you manually screenshot and annotate. So, not exactly user-friendly. Stay tuned, the backlog is endless

Generated sparks are user content and thus not trustworthy and jailed in an iframe. Html2canvas and getDisplayMedia don't play nice with cross-origin restrictions.

Introducing svelte-llm - Svelte 5 and SvelteKit documentation in an LLM-friendly format for use with AI like Claude Sonnet, Copilot or ChatGPT. The site provides up-to date documentation and a variety of different sizes that fit most models.

I mean, after a decade of "explicit" routes files and such, I don't know which one I hate more. The implicit filesystem thing has the benefit of being easy to grasp and explain relative to other implicit things, I guess. But IDK if there's a third way which is more explcit but less fiddly.

Either way, cooperation and trust are earned through interactions, which is a few layers above all these concerns.

And bsky/fedi is interesting in this context because of how far each is willing to design for a lack of trust. Fediverse: I must trust the instance but no further. Bsky, I have to trust more actors but it's theoretically simpler/cheaper to run part of "my" infra.

I'm saying that buying that desirable quality bears a cost. For things like cryptocurrencies, I do not value the thing (decentralized currency) enough to pay the cost (profligate energy waste).
