When T was elected in ‘16, many women who experienced abuse in their lives were re-traumatized. It’s only gotten worse since that time, and this ongoing, slow rolling release of Epstein info is very hard. I’m so grateful to his victims for stepping forward - I just wish it weren’t such a battle.

Oh, gosh - I’m not sure I went there? We travelled the entire Oregon coast, ending in the Redwoods - which were incredible. I’d have to go back and look at my photos to recall all the places, but Cobble Beach at Yaquina Head comes to mind, black stones clacking together as the water recedes.

Tonight, we did something everyone counted out. We proved to a nation that states like Tennessee are still worth fighting for. The margin was close, and that can only be attributed to the thousands of volunteers who showed out. This is just the beginning.

I can’t help but feel there’s a common thread running through admonitions to not fall in love with books or go hiking. Those are two things I’ve done, and I hope to have a life filled with more of the same :o)
