His media advisors tried to squeeze out his warmth, humour, anger & willingness to speak his mind, whereas there's a hunger for those things now. Even the mass rally is back, & he's made for the podcast age.

Looks fab. We ate at a place recently where they make a soda bread with treacle which was amazing. Quite heavy and almost more like cake than bread but it went really well with salty butter and mushroom pate.

His generosity in these situations always seems very genuine. I respect it a lot.
