Communities get built with care and passion and then suddenly the ground is pulled out from under them. It’s exhausting and discouraging and it makes you wonder why we’re expected to keep rebuilding from zero every single time.

What hurts most is how familiar this feels. Every time a platform gets big enough, it starts prioritizing control, optics and hypothetical “safety” over the actual well being of its users.

Face scans or government IDs for full access is such an extreme overreach. It’s a huge privacy risk and it puts a lot of people in danger, especially marginalized folks, adult creators, queer and trans users and anyone who simply doesn’t want their real identity tied to their online presence.

Speaking from experience, btw. I been living with schizophrenia diagnosis for 11 years now, def had it for longer tho. I struggle like every human being, but I can say in the past few years my life has became happier. And so can yours become happier, even if you have schizophrenia.

I think some people need to hear it, so I will say it: Schizophrenia isn't a death sentence. There is life after schizophrenia diagnosis, and it can be a fulfilling life, too.
