I saw the new Superman movie last night.

I thought David Corenswet did excellent as Supes. He'll never match up to Christopher Reeve - but that is my childhood nostalgia seasoning my viewpoint. Of course, Henry Cavill in stature and incredible looks IS Superman. Too bad his movies were subpar.

Reminds me of a “Death Saving Throw” - roll a 20 sided die, 1-9 is “Death”, 10-20 is a save. The player has 3 attempts.

As someone that has DMed D&D & GMed Warhammer RPG - Warhammer combat will maim them, magic will give them mutations & sooner or later they will go insane. It’s brutal. But so fun! I’ve always felt D&D is the nerf version of combat. But some people prefer that.

Great episode! Back in January, I posted my thoughts on AI art in a FB group for an old school TTRPG, Star Frontiers. I had contributed a lot of art for a Fanzine of Star Frontiers. But a new creator showed up using AI art. And people were lapping it up. I got a ton of crap for posting my concerns.
