It’s been a busy summer, only more hectic with a puppy. Today was my first day off from everything in a month and overwhelmed doesn’t begin to explain it. Still got pulled into some in house tech support, and I guess it was clear I’d been crying because I was given another day off tomorrow :(

My parents' very ancient cat passed away today. His name was Paul and he and I were room mates for a couple years. This was the origin of his name.

My nephew created a wizard named Tarloc (he even told me how to spell it) and my niece is a cat/dragon hybrid named Kitty Dragon.
I gotta come better prepared next week. Better maps, physical props and maybe figure out how to make a dice thrower towers to prevent mishaps

TTRPG update: It took 5 minutes for my nephew to hadouken the 20 sided die across the room, losing it. Had to pause the campaign to find it. Cleaned the area it was thrown, sorted through toy bins, took a break to watch our favorite tortoise youtuber then finally found it! It was great after that.

Been haunted by the ghost of a DnD character I made at age 10 and never got to play.

I babysit my niece and nephew once a week now, and I think it's finally time to make that campaign (or at least a campaign) happen.
