maybe when i get some days off in january i'll actually have some progress on the sugar outfit
and i have the hair i plan to use for this doll so maybe i'll look into potential hairstyles and start on that too

these jordans don't quite fit any of my dolls, but i like the look of them with these pants the best so maybe i'll make her like some thick socks so they could more firmly stay on

you may forget many things in life but the sims 1 sound effects you last heard in 2003 are etched into your brain forever

i cut off a bit at the back already so that it's easier to wear with a coat and scarf
and i'm planning to cut it open and add a layer of something warm so it's actually wearable in winter
i thought i'd buy some polar fleece but i looked in my wardrobe and maybe i'll use a wool shawl i don't need

i've always wanted to wear an ushanka and i bought one but so far i'm not very close to actually being able to wear it
it's very flimsy but i figured it's easier to modify this one than find an affordable hat that looks good and is warm and fits me
stuff i searched through online is not promising

i looked up stop motion fashion doll videos, for reasons, and there's a popular channel (with contentfarmy vibes but i didn't look deep into it) that uhhh
do keyframes and smooth them out with AI
it's so bizarre

ideally, i'll have base patterns for everyone at some point, and just be able to modify existing ones if i get an outfit idea
i like keeping my hands busy and have gotten urges to make doll clothes throughout years when i didn't have any
so i'm setting up for that

i'm not good at it, so i do my best to eyeball/measure enough for a first draft item of clothing, then make changes to the pattern based on how it fits, sew again, and repeat until i'm satisfied or tired

my current doll "collection" is a bunch of dolls that are roughly proportioned like my scene/monster high. i like finding this look in different doll lines
but that means all dolls i currently have are different, and if i want to make an outfit i have to develop a pattern from scratch

and i'll have to figure out a pattern for the top
but basically i have all the materials i'm planning to use for this outfit
