Slotkin Warns Trump ‘Will Make You Pay’ in Democrats’ Response to Speech The Michigan Democrat, a first-term senator, opted for a simple and brief response to President Trump’s speech, arguing that his agenda would be costly for Americans and leave them less safe.

Senator Elissa Slotkin, a first-term Democrat from Michigan, delivered a simple message as her party’s official response to President Trump’s combative address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night: Trump, she said, was “going to make you pay in every part of your life.”

We want to have a series of fact-checks about President Trump’s statements. Trump often confidently claims that Biden’s administration is the weakest in U.S. history. We ignore the review by professors who ranked Trump’s administration as the 46th and Biden’s as the 16th. Regarding the dollar, the U.S. dollar reached its strongest position in 50 years during Biden’s four years. The job market reached its best position in 70 years under Biden. The U.S. stock market was the strongest in 60 years. The U.S. economy grew faster than China’s for the first time in 65 years, and the gap between the U.S. economy and China’s grew from 6 trillion dollars to around 12 trillion dollars, showing that the GDP gap between China and the U.S. is a myth!

Considering China’s economic situation, particularly its real estate sector, which is experiencing a severe crisis, the country managed to sustain its economy through heavy dollar pumping. In 2018 and 2019, China’s government debt-to-GDP ratio was around 42 to 45%, while the U.S. stood at 99-100%. By 2025, China’s debt-to-GDP ratio will exceed 304%, while the U.S. will remain between 100 to 102%. A key point: most of the U.S. federal debt is domestic, which is crucial.

The U.S. is the only country that avoided a complete economic collapse after COVID-19. This success is attributed to President Biden’s team, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, and Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. They created balance in the U.S. economy, which required real skill!

If we look at all the facts, President Biden’s administration is one of the best in U.S. history. This performance in the face of economic difficulties post-COVID-19 has been remarkable. The 2024 electorate will have to answer to Generation Z and future generations about how the 16th administration left the White House and how the 46th made its way back.

Examining President Trump’s claims vs President Biden’s economic record. Is Trump’s take on weakness accurate? Let’s check the facts and compare administrations. As for Trump’s second term, it’s still too soon to judge, a lot can happen.

Zelensky Walked Into a Trap Donald Trump and J. D. Vance appear to have entered today’s Oval Office meeting with the goal of generating a pretext for a diplomatic break with Ukraine.

When It Comes to Tariffs, Trump Can’t Have It All The president has promised big results, from raising revenue to reviving domestic manufacturing. But many of his goals undermine one another.

President Trump has promised that tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China will impose few, if any, costs on the U.S. and rake in huge sums of revenue. But experts point out that many of his goals contradict and undermine one another.

“I am ashamed for my nation; even if Congress acts to support and aid Ukraine, it cannot restore the American honor lost today.”

I don’t believe this is true.

The American people have also switched sides. Not all of them, but a significant enough percentage that it might as well be a flat majority.

If Americans were still with Ukraine then Trump’s approval rating would drop 10 points by Monday.

It won’t.

Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago.

But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today.

He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.

Republicans don’t care about working people—they care about not getting primaried.

Mike Johnson dismisses town hall voters as “Democrat plants.” Like they don’t matter, but these are real Americans with real fears.

Nothing changes until GOP voters feel the pain and realize they got conned.
