I looked into it a little and the best I could find is it measures listens, growth, and retention. Retention being how many listeners listen to the end of an episode. It changes daily too so I can see how more popular episodes impact the chart but also release day gets a bump.

I find it really interesting how low the biggest board game podcasts rank in the Games category compared to TRPG, video game, and gambling podcasts.

If you're interested in another opinion, I've played it twice at 2 players and it works pretty well. There's an automa card deck that takes the place of a 3rd player since the auctions really need at least 3. It runs smoothly and has various difficulty levels to scale well. Very competitive.

Not common but I happens every few months. Usually if we mention wanting to see more diversity in the hobby.

I'm an Apple Podcast guy myself but my favorite thing about Spotify as a podcast platform, though, is that when someone comments on our show with something sexist or racist, it puts it in a Needs Review bucket.

If I don't respond that comment never gets seen. By doing nothing I can silence them.

Yeah they’re full msrp but it’s cool to see so many great hobby games in a store like that.

Barnes and Noble in the Grove in LA has an amazing board game selection. Behind me is about one fifth of the board games.
