Yeah itβs not super interactive (just the dice draft) so more players doesnβt help it in any way those are just my friends that like it a lot.
06.12.2025 02:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0More fun than UNO for me but itβs definitely fun in a different way so I wouldnβt necessarily say itβs going to be preferable for you. Itβs closer to a classic trick taking game like Hearts than UNO.
05.12.2025 23:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0There it is - thanks for the memory!
05.12.2025 21:45 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Didn't realize they were in town! I got to see their show in Chicago back in 2005 or so and it was a blast! I met Peter at a CPR fundraising gala and he was the sweetest guy. I have pics with him and Ira Glass from that night. Gotta dig those up somewhere.
05.12.2025 21:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It wasnβt my game but I donβt think we played with the expansion. Thanks for the recommendation! Will see if I can get it played with next time.
05.12.2025 17:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0These were all played with my family (parents, daughter, brother, and wife) and I would say Green Team Wins just slightly. It got more tabletalk and laughs.
Codenames was the bigger hit of the gathering though although it's a bit quieter.
Iβve almost always played it at 3 but Iβve played a bit at 2 as well. It works well at both.
05.12.2025 15:30 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It was my first play and I found it really fun. It feels similar to Knizia's other tile laying games like Rebirth and Blue Lagoon (even though you're not actually laying tiles). This is the quickest one (played in about 30 minutes for 3 players) and so it felt a bit like a filler.
05.12.2025 15:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I have not played it but will report back if I ever do!

05.12.2025 14:35 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0My November plays. Ask me anything!
05.12.2025 14:27 β π 16 π 0 π¬ 6 π 0Nokosu Dice deserves the hype itβs been getting. A very tricky trick taker with a dice draft to fill out your hand. Loved it!
05.12.2025 07:43 β π 33 π 1 π¬ 4 π 0Kingsburg still hits hard. A rare good looking euro from 2007 era. One of the better dice placement mechanisms. We played with a couple expansion modules tonight and it was a blast to revisit.
05.12.2025 07:42 β π 51 π 3 π¬ 3 π 0Pirates of Maracaibo is a fantastic tableau/engine builder with great choices, fun turns, and a brisk playtime. Right at the top of my favorite Pfister games.
05.12.2025 07:39 β π 72 π 1 π¬ 2 π 1I fully support this form of plagiarism!
03.12.2025 19:20 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I really like the game Galactic Cruise but the least thematic thing about it is how company meetings are increasingly productive if more people attend them.
03.12.2025 05:13 β π 23 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0No 10s? No games you think youβll always enjoy playing?
02.12.2025 22:39 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Thank you!

01.12.2025 18:22 β π 3 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0I donβt think my wife is going to be into that so unlikely. I think it can be played solo so I might try that.

Got to try Everdell Duo today. Smaller footprint and quicker playtime than OG Everdell. A couple cute twists on the Everdell systems to make it a little more head to head.
I liked it. Do I need both? No. Am I look forward to revisiting Duo. Absolutely.
