Yeah it’s not super interactive (just the dice draft) so more players doesn’t help it in any way those are just my friends that like it a lot.

More fun than UNO for me but it’s definitely fun in a different way so I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s going to be preferable for you. It’s closer to a classic trick taking game like Hearts than UNO.

Didn't realize they were in town! I got to see their show in Chicago back in 2005 or so and it was a blast! I met Peter at a CPR fundraising gala and he was the sweetest guy. I have pics with him and Ira Glass from that night. Gotta dig those up somewhere.

It wasn’t my game but I don’t think we played with the expansion. Thanks for the recommendation! Will see if I can get it played with next time.

These were all played with my family (parents, daughter, brother, and wife) and I would say Green Team Wins just slightly. It got more tabletalk and laughs.

Codenames was the bigger hit of the gathering though although it's a bit quieter.

I’ve almost always played it at 3 but I’ve played a bit at 2 as well. It works well at both.

It was my first play and I found it really fun. It feels similar to Knizia's other tile laying games like Rebirth and Blue Lagoon (even though you're not actually laying tiles). This is the quickest one (played in about 30 minutes for 3 players) and so it felt a bit like a filler.

I have not played it but will report back if I ever do!

Nokosu Dice deserves the hype it’s been getting. A very tricky trick taker with a dice draft to fill out your hand. Loved it!

Kingsburg still hits hard. A rare good looking euro from 2007 era. One of the better dice placement mechanisms. We played with a couple expansion modules tonight and it was a blast to revisit.

Pirates of Maracaibo is a fantastic tableau/engine builder with great choices, fun turns, and a brisk playtime. Right at the top of my favorite Pfister games.

I really like the game Galactic Cruise but the least thematic thing about it is how company meetings are increasingly productive if more people attend them.

I don’t think my wife is going to be into that so unlikely. I think it can be played solo so I might try that.

Got to try Everdell Duo today. Smaller footprint and quicker playtime than OG Everdell. A couple cute twists on the Everdell systems to make it a little more head to head.

I liked it. Do I need both? No. Am I look forward to revisiting Duo. Absolutely.
