I have been able to find some of what I would call my target home, but I'm torn on location. Ultimately the further out I go the less costly stuff is, but everything that's a convenient drive to work is expensive. Besides Detroit proper.

Looking at houses again, though I'm not prepared financially to do anything. The market still is awful. Tempted to buy a duplex in Detroit so I get like 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Who cares what neighborhood at this point

I think that trying to merge genres like that also doesn't reflect the basis of genre; that is to say, genre is kind of best evaluated post-release; the first metal bands were not making metal music, etc. Radio Format =\= archetype. That being said I see the value in picking a few yardsticks.

This is one reason I'm glad my group doesn't do categories in the traditional sense. I would rather put myself into the headspace of the video wherever it takes us rather than try to evaluate it against a super arbitrary genre tag.
