I’ve played the clarinet for most of my life. Stopped playing about 7 years ago because I just didn’t have the time to devote to it. I recently retired & decided this was a good time to get back in to the swing of things (no pun intended…). Making lots of noise, & having lots of fun while doing it!

We’re a bit late getting up to the cabin this year, but someone finally got to take her first swim of the season. So nice to be back in the UP!

Yep. The question was asked at our wedding. No one objected. Celebrated our 40th anniversary back in May. Not sure who to blame for that. 😂

Well, I could have told them that 40 years ago - and then they could have spent their time researching, I dunno, all kinds of other stuff 🙄

Makes me glad that our cabin is on a very small, no-wake lake!

Has it really only been six months?? Feels more like six years…

We have relatively inexpensive acres where I am. You just have to get used to living with minimal modern conveniences. When we bought our place, I insisted that the realtor send me a video that proved there was indoor plumbing. 😂

This is why I insist on living on five acres. Minimum.

This article is more than 2 months old, but my local Kroger continues to scam its customers. I don’t shop there often, but every time I do, I get overcharged — often for multiple items. Nice way to treat your customers, Kroger. 🙄

Retiring this month after 34 years as a tenured faculty member (including several years as dept chair). I would need a 50% raise on my way out the door to reach the low end of that pay scale.

The group was scheduled to perform a free concert here in Cincinnati for local composer Rick Sowash’s 75th birthday celebration. Needless to say, the event has been canceled. 🙁
