I forgot to mention instead or blood they have Haemolymph as the fluid that runs through their bodies. It is an open system working like a lubricant delivering nutrients but not oxygen. That is done through the air, reason why bugs sizes are thought to be related to oxygen levels in the atmosphere

Also really cool to learn that invertebrates don't have blood. I never thought much about it since you do tend to get blood when you kill mosquitoes but that's on you
