Maybe it’s just recency bias, but I feel like Storyteller is gonna stand up as one of THE Hazbin Hotel episodes.

One of those “Zuko Alone,” “The Luck of the Fry-rish” type episodes where you just look at new fans and go “wait until you get to THAT episode.”

I continue to wonder when Americans will decide enough is enough. As Frederick Douglass reminds us:

Really worth reading the entire 60 minutes interview transcript but admit this part got me laughing out loud.

"I dont have access to health insurance, even though that is mandatory where I was born.Because people with Lyme and ME/CFS are routinely denied healthcare, persecuted, and jailed in psychiatric hospitals. That is why I became a traveler/refugee. That is why my mom, who still lives there, is deep in debt. Because there was never gov. support or funding for me, not even welfare." In a way, I find the authoritarian takeover of our media system even more disturbing than the authoritarian takeover of our political system.

Our political system has been failing basically my entire adult life. But, the media system provided accountability and sort of worked. Now it’s collapsing.

The debate about how Democrats need to change so they can overcome the ways our political system fails to represent people is so tired and boring.

The real question is: how can we change the political system so that it better represents people across the spectrum and delivers what we want.
