I found it amusing that despite his desires, apparently the population of twitter then apparently had an overwhelming view opposite to elon, until someone went and messed with the prompt

Oh definitely- hence the futurama tag(the professor gets de-aged to his 70s and complains that he'll need a fake ID to rent "ultraporn")

I am also in the same camp of "guess my age" and everyone usually being -5 years off

(There is likely a market but you're not going to get rich off of it- and everyone wants the money for advertisements as it's reoccurring and you can improve things to make it more profitable)

Because of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_.... United States v. Microsoft Corp. - Wikipedia

By that point a license of Netscape was frequently included as part of your internet provider's signup- for everyone at that point browsers were already "free", and free > better for most everyone.

Not having any sort of identity documentation is illegal in a lot of places?

(EU has ways of obtaining documentation if you're stateless for example)

This is however the slow trend to deanonymize the internet though.

This is like spam, if it fails 70% of the time but ultimately saves you time, it's a positive win. For the spammer that is, for you it's annoying.

Microsoft tried this and it was possible to get an account plan without the AI stuff at the previous price, but it was super difficult to get.

@garydgregory.bsky.social there's a fix for COLLECTION-701 that could be backported to collections3 - spark and a few other things are still including that version (although not using it) - however there's some other issues related to the java version(would have to make some other fixes to maps/etc)

Hot take: "Vibe coding" is to developers what "playing with photoshop instead of gaming" was to kids with macs in the 90s.

You have in fact described SMTP.

Durability and receipts are probably two issues you want to address though.

The neighbour law firm in the old office was a firm that specializes in these kinds of clients, which means at some point some really horrific people were on the same floor or in the elevator with me. :/

Essentially all arguments about software tools devolve to the point where they mirror gun rights?

If it allows users to do the wrong thing (and shoot their foot off)?

If it's banned because of policy? Or because of legal reasons?

etc.

If I had a time machine, I'd go back in time to find my high school teacher and inform him that not only do I have a calculator with me 100% of the time, I have multiple of them and they're all supercomputers by his standards.
