Later, Ozzy would form his own band and achieve even greater success. I am happy that Black Sabbath had one final concert, supported by many groups that paid tribute to them while they were still with us. However I am deeply saddened by Ozzy's passing.

My first proper rock concert was Black Sabbath at the Long Beach Arena in 1971. Great show. Black Sabbath was something special and altogether different from other groups at the time. Masters of Reality was their third album, they were fine tuning a genre of music they had created, Heavy Metal.
