Point 17 is something I genuinely haven't considered before now. All great having machines producing everything, but useless if nobody has income to buy what they are producing.

It's not really a question of funding. It's more about what happens when you apply an inorganic increase on demand. Naturally, prices (could) increase. There probably would need some mechanism to cap prices in response - although given where staple goods are now, that might be required anyway.

UBI is probably inevitable. There's no way social systems can survive the AI revolution without it. The issue is how it can be implemented without massive inflationary impact. And I suspect that will only come from controlled pricing of staple goods (at minimum).

Make 2026 the year you favour musicianship over aesthetics, musicians over labels, and music over vinyl.

My only advice is find a label owner that isn't a shambles, and from my experience frequency and openness of communication is usually a sign (i suspect we both have had experiences to the contrary). Good luck with the release and I hope you find a label decent to work with.

No government survives high inflation. The fact it had bugger all to do with the Dems is irrelevant. We had the same in 2010, where our Labour government were blamed for the global economic fallout of a banking collapse in US. People don't understand stuff.
