So, what is going on with Bluesky? I keep hearing things, like porn being banned. It doesn't matter though. I haven't invested much into this platform and will continue using it normally until I cannot.

Quick update on my game: Writing is going better than I thought! The game has evolved quite a bit conceptually, we'll see if these changes stick.

The better question is why wouldn't they? It makes more sense that asking for wine. Do I just pour it in the pond, or will the fish open it themselves!?

Options and logic to exit dialog now work! I did a stealth update on itch if you want to see it.
Do note that the test-encounter-state-switch button still exists since I have not put in any gameplay that switches to dialog naturally.

Putting in the foundations to display dialog and seamlessly switch between verbal and physical states. I also was introduced to a royalty free audio site...

I got save data working! I can now move on to programming in more things, like the shop, that requires data persistence.
I'm excited with the shape this game is starting to take!

Why is changing scenes so difficult >.>
You can't just let the program do it for you since it'll always reset everything. FML. I got something working. This took more time than I would have liked, and I need to draw now.

I spent some time learning about tilemaps, programmed the player input to use the tiles as pathways and swap stepped on tiles to indicate where the player has been.
Tomorrow I will make tile triggers to start encounters, and to return to the world after the encounter is done.

Now is drawing time.
