Mine passed away this morning too.

At approximately 10:30 am this morning, my father passed away a few weeks shy of 87.

I fell a great sense of sorrow and relief. Relieved that he is no longer suffering from the pain of Parkinson’s disease.

Good Evening from the hospital. I am sitting next to my dad and speaking to him although he can’t hear me since he is likely in his final stages.

This is hard. We’ve had a tough relationship and God knows we’ve been angry with each other but my tears are flowing.

Today my dad (86 yo) with Parkinson’s chocked on his lunch and stopped breathing. I tried to get him breathing but no luck. EMS came in and intubated him even m though he is DNR/DNI because I didn’t have the papers.
