The scene is dreary and rainy, taking place at the encampment of tow characters, Wilson and Maxwell. To the left of the image, there's a tent, some juicy berry bushes, and to the right, regular bushes. The scene is mostly lit by a firepit in front of the two characters. Behind them, the clouds part to reveal the sky, the tips of the clouds lit in near scarlet, bringing needed warmth to the colors. The characters themselves are sitting together on a log, Wilson holding an umbrella and holding it both over himself and Maxwell. Wilson looks away, a small flustered glare in his expression, revealing to the viewer his refusal to acknowledge such a friendly gesture. Maxwell is tiredly looking at him, the Codex Umbra resting on his lap as he lays his arms on it. He doesn't appear to be expressing gratitude, though the glance shows he at least appreciates it, and does not refuse it. There is implied romantic tension.
