How institutions pivot regarding this for current employees might say a lot about whether they’re really “good places to work.” Reminds me of my institution’s Covid policies, which were pretty outstanding

This is the dumbest fucking shit I've ever read and people who talk like this need to go touch grass.

LLM tools only have real case uses in very limited areas when the people using them are actual experts in their fields and can check it carefully for its bullshit.

So, not students.

They are senior level undergrads mostly. If you think that would work for them, I’m all ears!

Ooh if you have any materials to share (readings exercises etc) that your students have found helpful, i'd love to hear them! my class assumes prior methods exposure - its run grad seminar style, but they do their own study as well. a lot of fear + assuming they left apa papers behind!

Today I had my social psych (seminar style) class read Jordan & Zanna’s “how to read a journal article” paper. So many said they wished they read it in methods! They especially liked the story metaphor. Might be worth sharing w/ your class?

Does Sec 4 ii (A) imply that you can't do scholarship in a particular racial/ethnic group and *only* that group... even if the disease primarily impacts that group? E.g., sickle cell anemia research, or BRCA studies in Ashkenazi Jewish participants?
