What a juxtaposition in my feed right now.

We should advocate for the nuclear option. Progressive legislation would be infinitely more explosive than any Conservative response.

Imagine 2 extra states (DC, PR), an overhaul of election laws, an expansion to the House of Reps and SCOTUS ... so many things a GOP trifecta could never turn back.

I hear you. I may be a curmudgeon, perhaps unconsciously wishing to have more credulity myself.

Actually, a step up basis for my kids ensures everyone else's kids will pay.

But I'll reluctantly accept the luxury so many poorer people grant me if they want to continue voting for my interests.

I can only recommend they vote their interests so many times.

I'm not in the 0.1%, but they've still managed to help us in the 5%, so it's much worse than you make it out to be.

Do we have well-to-do politicians and citizens in right places to make the right calls to help the other 90% succeed?
