I'd never heard of these Orx, as they were listed on ebay. They are an interesting mix of Vietnam era U.S. military and black powder weapons. They were so different from other sci-fi orcs/orks/orx(?) I've seen before I had to snag them. I'm debating about paint jobs.

This Mutant Chronicles Venusian Ranger is from way back in the '90s RPG miniatures. He's rocking one of my favorite Mutant Chronicles weapons, the Dethlockdrum. His pose is insane, pistol gripping an anti-material weapon against his torso. I think he may be destined for a repose and head swap.

I'm currently tracking down copies of games I didn't buy over the last three decades & change because I was almost exclusively a 40K player. I wish I'd bought them back then & my recent introduction to miniatures agnostic Indy games has given me all new uses for their associated miniatures, too.
