Chess is actually a great focus check method.
Let’s say you want to make sure you can stay focused for a little while right now.
Go play a game of chess. It doesn’t matter if you are a skilled player, just play against someone with a similar rating.
If you make blunders, it’s time to rest.

Do you know what USB stands for? Back in its’ early days people used to say it’s “Unsupported Bus” until iMac made it cool in 1998. Then it officially became “Upside Bus”. And now, with USB type C, I guess, it’s just Universal Serial Bus. No unnecessary flipping is simply awesome.

An interesting thing is that instead of this
any([some_func(x) for x in [1, 2, 3]])
You can also do this
any(some_func(x) for x in [1, 2, 3])
See what I did here? Instead of a list comprehension we’re using a generator expression, and the code becomes more efficient :)

I think many of those who say all the time that they’re very smart and professional are not very smart and not very professional.

After 23:59:59, you expect 00:00:00, right? But since 1972 sometimes it was 23:59:59, then 23:59:60, and finally 00:00:00.
That’s called a leap second. It was first done in 1972, and then it was done many more times. There are plans to change it though.

For me, one of the most interesting things this year was that I was able to build a team that currently works with me on my project for free. Apparently, in the current market, it makes sense, people want to do something interesting. So more than 20 people are working on my project right now.
