⚡Volt Europa General Assembly in Frankfurt.

💜Volt Ukraine gave an update on the situation from the ground. A moment of silence in memory of the victims.

💜Former Estonian President Toomas Ilves, a Volt member, gave a speech on European unity.

💜Volt members marched demanding a more united Europe.

Viime viikonloppuna Volt Suomi osallistui Volt Europan yleiskokoukseen Frankfurtissa. Country Council -kokouksessa tehtiin suunnitelmia miten eri maiden aloitteita voidaan käydä nopeammin läpi. Volt Ukraina antoi tilannepäivityksen paikan päältä ja vietimme hiljaisen hetken uhrien muistoksi. 🔎Yleiskokouksessa oli myös eri keskustelutilaisuuksia joissa Euroopan laajuinen armeija, Euroopan talous ja innovaatio, tekoäly ja ilmastonmuutos sekä useat muut aiheet olivat esillä. Viron aiempi presidentti Toomas Ilves, nykyinen Volt jäsen piti puheen Euroopan yhtenäisyydestä ja teknologiasta. Lauantai iltana yli tuhat Volt jäsentä marssi Frankfurtin kaduilla yhtenäisempää Eurooppaa vaatien. --------------- Last weekend Volt Finland participated in the Volt Europa General Assembly in Frankfurt. At the Country Council meeting, plans were made on how to process the initiatives from different countries more quickly. Volt Ukraine gave an update on the situation from the ground and we held a moment of silence in memory of the victims. The General Assembly also included various discussion sessions where a European-wide army, the European economy and innovation, artificial intelligence and climate change, and several other topics were discussed. Former Estonian President Toomas Ilves, a current Volt member, gave a speech on European unity and technology. On Saturday evening, over a thousand Volt members marched through the streets of Frankfurt demanding a more united Europe.

Rasismi on Suomessa ongelma. Systeeminen rasismi sekä yksilötason rasismi näkyvät päivittäin otsikoissa ja kielenkäytössä. Volt Suomi tuomitsee kaikki rasistiset kommentit. Kuten YK:n ihmisoikeuksien julistus vuodelta 1948 ilmoittaa, kuuluvat ihmisoikeudet kaikille ja kaikki ihmiset ovat tasavertaisia.
