Beat Clair Obscur today, the hype is well deserved and it's easily one of the best games I've ever played. The underlying theme isn't anything new even in video games but the execution is simply beautiful. Looking forward to 100%ing it.

It's hyper US American in a funny way, capitalism go brrr immediately, weapons manufacturing is privatized, you spend half the game going out drilling for oil and natives who don't play ball get shot.

They're all just lobbyists at that point, which mind you is important for businesses, love it or hate it, but the good ones who do more than just that are certainly rare, and the ones with justifiable pay are even more rare.

NOSFERATU FLOW

One more picture from this set of 4. The scene in this one, also from Super Metroid, is a lab room with computers around a big broken vertical glass vat in the middle. The computer screens are flashing DANGER in red, and 4 scientists lay dead in the floor around the vat. The frame is similar to the other images.

The last Illustration in the set. Here we see what happens in the game after Samus moves on from the room with the dead scientists. Through her eyes, on the other side of a round hatch up a short set of stairs, the alien monster Ridley, on of the main bosses in the game, holds a Metroid embryo which he stole from the vat in the previous scene. Red lights flash, coloring Ridley and making him/it look even more threatening. The frame is similar to the other images.

Wilds is so friggin good, I wish it weren't so horribly optimized. Having 1.3 mil concurrent players while having 28k mixed reviews is wild(s), imagine playing this heap of fire on a ps5.

In other news: Monster Hunter Wilds today after work. Can't believe I'll play GS in a modern MonHun, but the tracking and sickass coolass counter really saves the TCS centered moveset for me.

Integrated Strategies 5 is very silly. I don't think I ever hit max level in any of the other IS.

I have that mew card in my phone case, it's my original that I got when I saw the second movie way back when. Back then all those movies with a tcg associated gave you one, got one from the Yu-Gi-Oh! movie and Digimon movie as well.
