We’re all conspiracy theorists now. Why?

β€œIn an oral culture, clichΓ© and stereotype are valued, as accumulations of wisdom, and analysis is frowned upon, for putting those accumulations at risk.”

A light brown zebra with faded stripes stands on a grassy hillside at Vergelegen wine farm near Cape Town. Unlike typical zebras, its stripes are less pronounced and fade into a plain brown color on its lower body. The animal is photographed against a backdrop of dense green vegetation and a bright blue sky with a single white cloud. Below the image is a headline in white text asking "Did Scientists Revive an Extinct Animal or Just Breed a Less Stripey Zebra?"
