oh yeah this game is peak!! i was expecting a solid game but the writing here is absolutely premium!

It's really good so far, a little generic on the combat side but the dialogue is really excellent!

D&D night and with everything going on, I've barely thought about dnd. Luckily, we left off with a simple "go take the thing to another location that's 5 days away" type deal so I can just run some simple stranger on the road encounters to ease me back in.

But the grim-fantasy world is good so far, the blacksmithing mechanics are fleshed out a bit from the last beta, the plot itself is interesting. It also has some DND style ability checks so your basic character build at the start is pretty important.

I've been this game's cheerleader for years and I'm happy to say the first hour of the campaign is very promising. Maybe it's just my niche, it's text based with no voice-acting. It's all concept art too, no cutscenes.
