Basically everything that's good in 2033, is also good here. Good visuals, solid gunplay, serviceable stealth. Story was great. I love the section with Regina, the vehicle, reminded me of Half Life 2's scout car level.

Metro 2033 Redux✅️

8/10.

First time playing the Redux version, first time playing 2033 at all for over a decade. Sometimes, remasters can lose the charm/atmosphere of originals, no issue with that here. Gameplay is solid enough, nice blend of combat, stealth, and survival. The PC port is lacking.

Ryse: Son of Rome✅️

7/10.

Really solid, if a bit basic combat. Narrative was surprisingly cool. Loved the over the top depiction of Britain. PC port was a little buggy. Some boss fights were underwhelming.

Currently playing through Ryse: Son of Rome. It's one of those 7/10 games that I fall in love with. I love the depiction of Roman Britain, I love the combo system, I love the 2014 era voice acting.

We are looking at the Hall on a cold winters morning. There’s a fine sprinkling of snow on the lawn and on the timber framed building’s roof. Light glows from the Georgian sash windows on the first floor.

So 2026 has not started well. It’s a Monday and it’s the first one back after Christmas. It’s cold. We can’t eat biscuits because we are all on diets…

However look at the Hall being gorgeous in the frost! It’s enough to gladden anyone’s heart.

I loved Anna & Holden, didn't really get on with the Melba chapters until the end and Bull I felt was a bit meh too. But It was a great end to the initial trilogy, hard to see where they take it from here though.
