The overwhelming number of Homestuck TikToks on my FYP feels like an omen for what is to come.

Thinking about the Homestuck re-read my server is doing together and how I will make up for the thousands of pages between me and my speaking lines by speaking thousands of words every time Dirk is on screen.

Talking to my friends about (past) relationship issues is really recontextualizing a lot of my experiences and validating my reactions to those situations.

Just hearing someone else say, "Hey, that was abuse," is so important.

I never want to settle for that kind of treatment again.

I have DM servers with you, Mo, Mel, and Zen. Then the T-Boy server, then Florida Friends, then the Clubhouse.

And then Gamzee in DMs.

Not to mention all of the roleplay servers I have with Zen. We have like 25 just between us.

I haven't been posting much because most of my friends are more active on Discord than they are here, and I'm busy messaging different combinations of the same group of people sorted into eight different servers and some DMs.

Zen is genuinely so good to me. He has been by my side no matter how fucked up my life has been or how I've coped with it. I'm so happy to finally have an untainted view of how good he is to me.

Therapy coupled with my new support group has changed so much in my life.

Unpacking all of the ways my prior relationship hurt the people I love is painful, but it's putting some of the worst shit I ever dealt with into perspective.

I am so glad I'm in a place now where I have grieved that loss, and I can truly be a better version of myself on the other side of it.

I had a very long, deep conversation with Zen about a lot of things recently, and holy *shit*. Toxic relationships have a ripple effect that will stain every other part of your life. Cycles of abuse/mistreatment have a lasting effect on the people around you, not just you and the person you're with.

Zen had a long week and a rough Friday, so we had a date after work. We cuddled and took a nap, we spent time connecting and playing and talking, then we played Valheim for a long time.

It turned a rough week around to start off a great weekend.
