If it's listening to more podcasts of a certain type, or more reading what algorithms present to you, it could/would just mean more and more exposure to mis-/disinformation.

Saw the new Fantastic Four today - just very enjoyable, similar to Thunderbolts* - good vibes, glad it's not grimdark. Bits and bobs I liked less such as the Dragonball Z school of winning fights but schwah. Not at the level of Superman 2025 though.

Just finished it: amazing game, also very much Elden Ring, and Elite Beat Agents. I did end up minmaxing like mad, thanks to the Simon boss. The story was great as well, threaded a needle in a sense but worked really well psychologically. Right length too.

Just saw the Gunn-Superman and LOVED it! I'd seen negative reviews beforehand and oooh it's clear why, it causally puts the boot in to billionaires and gives a great visualisation of troll farms, but it's also just exactly the best kind of positive Superman representation.

Tried out Clair Osbscur: Expedition 33. It's a great game, although I'm not the biggest fan of the Final Fantasy style, but the acting's amazing, all the traditional emotional damage and such.

Yes to this but why stop there? Let’s go for full comprehensive universities established on co-operative principles. VCs to be elected by staff, paid the same as other professors and rewarded for the burden of their 4 year stint with a sabbatical afterwards. Local govt on the board too.

I feel like the one exception might be religious hypocrites, based on the "whitewashed graves" bits.

Only got limited experience in UK unis, but the nature of the management always seemed ridiculous to me. Oh, we need to pay massive amounts to bosses to hold massive power over us, for some reason? And how's that working out? Can we falsify the hypothesis?

Reading about the University of Dundee problems - interesting case but I also wonder, are people going to start questioning the general assumptions underlying the belief that these very high boss-level salaries are so justified and necessary? The whole concept of corporate power structures at unis?

Went to see 28 Years Later and generally enjoyed it, but never sure about the intention/subtext with the films I've seen of the director. Like, are things like the return of Jimmy critique or gratuitous, or just dark humour?

Definitely worth the watch anyway, if only for cultural awareness.

Made a page-visit counter this evening as a SQL practice project, and will now soon be able to know for sure that my old website never gets any views :D I still love it though in all its amateur-HTML glory.
