I haven’t posted here for a month. Boy, what a month it’s been. Hope everyone on this side of the internet is hanging in there.

You're helping me save towards taking time off for my surgery next year and the hundreds I'll have to spend for my medical bills.

I’ve seen this argument a scary amount of times and all I can say is UGH.

The agency told me that if the WH wasn’t involved they would have had me speak, but it was out of their hands. Oh and I wasn’t even allowed to simply attend the event, which had nothing to do with Palestine or POTUS.

That’s just a personal example. I can give way worse that happened to others.

I saw someone say “At least Biden didn’t silence his critics.” That’s BS. There are many examples, but a personal one was that I was asked to speak at an event for a fed agency and it was revoked because the WH happened to be loosely involved and I didn’t pass their vet due to being pro-Palestine.

The Xitter Exodus and What it Means for the Disability Community Disabled and chronically ill people have long used Twitter/X for community, fundraising, companionship and support. With folks leaving in droves - where will we go and how can we stick together?

Many disabled & chronically ill people are feeling left behind by those who've left Twitter. Concerns range from not having enough spoons to make transition, not knowing where to go and fears they won't be able to find their people once they get there.

How can we ensure no one gets left behind?

I do work full time, but can only do so in a fully/mostly remote setting. The shift in how people view remote work has been extremely beneficial to me.
