mentally I was in a bad place. Then my dad suffered a stroke, which then led to a brain bleed. Soon after I got out of a 3.5 year relationship. And then a friendship followed that. I distinctly remember walking downtown Louisville to a spot that overlooked the river. I nearly jumped that day.
