Burbank Bikes I like riding my bike and I like riding my bike with others but I don't like riding my bike with cars.

Ask yourself: would I be comfortable with a 5 year old using this bike lane? If not, then that answers a lot about the efficacy of the bike lane

Why isn't anyone riding in that bike lane in your city? Most likely it's because

1) the bike lane is merely paint on the ground, inadequate for safety

2) The bike lane might be legit but it exists on an island, detached from an integrated network
