The goal is to simply write, and see how much you can write in a month. You can write about your own characters, about someone else's characters, or even fanfiction about your favourite fandoms. Using the journal so far has proved useless... I have journaled many things that don't even show up! It also seems that certain dinos are fixed to one small spot in the world. and not wandering around. What is this game? Why is it do dead?

Oh no... I was unaware that you would have to build things with WASD and not the mouse. That's going to take some getting used to. In exploring more, I found a herd of Corythosaurs... Like five miles from town! Why is everything so spaced out!?

So in getting outside of the ranch, the world is... Empty. You are greeted by a small herd of what looks to be Styracosaurs, and Psitacosaurs, but otherwise you're in a massive field with nothing else in it. I hope that once you get out of the tutorial there will be more life.

Now having met the Owyn and cowgal who's name I have already forgotten and have been set loose. What is with the abysmal stamina on these dinosaurs? At least the massive storage chest you can put things in compensates for the fact Lucky can't do much of anything.

Apparently the Parasaurolophus is a myth, and these two researcher characters chased you down because they thought you were one. What a strange dinosaur to make an urban legend...

I am playing Paleo Pines for the first time and I feel like I need to live record my impressions of this game.

So far I am not impressed. Character creation is minimal at best. And while I enjoy the cuteness, the sounds the dinos make are not my fave.
