It’s been a really rough week handling the file release (and the world realizing the horrors that consumed my childhood), so I made a little time to decompress by painting some Islamic geometry and alhamdulillah I really needed it 🥲💜

This was simple issue of incompatible timelines, and we’re hurt that you feel the need to take this public and twist it into transphobia when we offered as long as possible of an extension and attempted to frequently communicate with you on progress check ins, with no response.

We did confirm you knew your date at the start of this project, and that the timeline would work for you. There was no communication about a monochrome piece then or within six weeks after the missed first check in.

We also provided you with a generous six week extension, and reached out multiple times to work around your surgery schedule (which was confirmed before signing on with us), with no response from you.

We’re sorry this didn’t work out, but we were as flexible as we possibly could be.

Replying from here since we’re blocked on the zine account. As a reminder a term of the contract was to create a colored illustration similar to your portfolio. When we addressed this, you refused.

I’m a beyond-exhausted trafficking survivor reliving extensive trauma rn because the Epstein files (+more) are the experiences I had too.

If you all can support by sharing the (joyous! queer!) zine I’m working on would mean a lot right now. It’s a project of joy and will help keep me centered rn 💜

I’m so excited for this upcoming series I’m painting bc it’s such a celebration of sexuality and the human body. Something I really need to paint rn as a trans person and a survivor 🩷
