I'm in Luxembourg - and Android has warned me that it can't detect car crashes in this country. Which is interesting, because I didn't know it could detect them at all.

Don't make a mistake when booking a ticket with SNCB, the Belgian train company. If you book online (website/app) you can't change your ticket at all.

Which puts me out €26 for misclicking and booking a ticket for the day before I wanted it.

I was unprepared for the fact that the O2 looks like an alien porcupine.

I had something like that many years ago but I've no idea where it's gone so I should check this out, thank you!

Update: this turns out to be terrible because I stayed awake the whole flight watching movies.

My new favorite airline is Virgin Atlantic, because they have Bluetooth available for their seatback TVs. I can connect my hearing aids!

There may only be 350 hours I'm interested in, though. So like...yeah, actually, basically unlimited.

I just got an email from Virgin Atlantic about my upcoming flight. It mentions the 1900+ hours of TV and films I can choose from...

I only did a small portion of it! The real praise goes to Anthoula Katsimatides, who lost his brother in the Twin Towers and is an elegant, poignant narrator for most of the guide.

I've been wanting to see a show at Red Rocks in Denver, but it's got to be for someone I'd have to travel for anyway. If someone is coming to my area, I'll just see them here.

I don't think the old account ever did anything to get the cars maintenance, but it sure was nice to vent about the heat and pretend you were helping someone.

That's still the same, of course - other people on your flight had seatback screens.

Most flights these days have seatback TVs, and those that don't, you're expected to bring your own device (and downloads) if you want to watch movies.

On today's flight - I counted 44 movies and only got through the C's before giving up, plus TV shows, live TV, Spotify audio, and a flight tracker.

Remember when flights had overhead video screens with no captions, and you all watched the same movie? I think the last time I had a plane with that type of inflight entertainment was roughly 2010. Have you seen one recently?

Just watched someone sneak a vape in the casino at the Park MGM, the only non-smoking property on the Vegas strip. Friend, you could go ANYWHERE else. I am genuinely confused.

In grad school I took a course on concentration camps. This is absolutely Round 2 of them in the USA. Good article here about the difference between concentration and extermination camps.

On 7/4/15, I experienced a traumatic event. I'm commemorating 10 years of living with PTSD by heading to the Entertainment Capital of the World for a few days of absurdity and joy. On Friday I plan to be at Omega Mart - it'll be my second Meow Wolf and I'm so excited for the surrealism and beauty.

If I can convince a chatbot to give me discounts, I'm all for it. Perfectly happy to sweet talk it into 95% off at the grocery store.

Where were you, geographically, on September 11, 2001?

I was at 1275 K Street NW, basement level, in DC. It was an uncomfortable day to be at work so close to the White House - especially when the building was put into lockdown.
