Viktor sitting on a bed with Jayce kneeling in front of him. They're in a ship cabin. Jayce is dripping wet and looking at Viktor pleadingly.

"Viktor," Jayce whispered. He seemed to be shivering. "Don't do this. Don't pull away from me. We can research this together. We'll be careful. That other you was a mage, and he didn't seem to be influenced by the hexcore. There's too much we don't know to jump to conclusions."

Hahahaha, I also wanted to give him a slap myself! For someone so smart, he can be pretty stupid sometimes XD. But let's give him benefit of doubt a lil, he's scared. People do stupid things when scared :D
