02.07.2025 01:30 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(10/10)Just some random musings on a Tuesday evening. What are some driving behaviors that drive you “batty?”
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(9/10)Not that this makes it better, at least that’s an explanation. The others, I think it’s “herd” theory. Some drivers just want to be in front, I think. I don’t care, just drive a steady speed and move over to the right lane if I’m overtaking.
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(8/10)Then there are drivers that I pass while using my cruise control that somehow pass me within minutes. And then I pass 'em again later. What? Some are dead foot drivers; you know, the ones that never adjust the position of the accelerator pedal so that they slow up hill and speed up down hill.
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(7/10) I turned off my adaptive cruise control. It’s important to me that the driver in front of me understands, without question, that I’m here to overtake.
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(6/10)These drivers using adaptive cruise control don’t want to get into the right lane, because in their mind, they set that cruise to 80 but the camped out driver is only doing 72. So NO ONE gets over.
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(5/10)Unfortunately then, a car passing on the right fills in that safety gap; further pushing the car using adaptive cruise farther back in the left lane. This makes the line of backed up traffic even longer, and sometimes, slower.
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(4/10)I think that adaptive cruise control is part of the problem. That system forces a gap between the car itself and the car in front. While safety is important; I think it gives the driver of the car in front, a false impression that the car behind them is content and doesn’t want to pass.
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(3/10)Speaking of camping out in lanes. What about those people that get into the left lane when they’re passing no one? Do they think that since they’re traveling 12 hours and over three states that the left lane is where they’re supposed to drive?
02.07.2025 01:18 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0(2/10)I think money and time spent making 2 lane interstates into 3 lanes is time and money wasted. No one drives in the far right lane. Most, including semis, camp out in the middle lane. The right lane is rarely used. I submit that expansion of 2 lane freeways should be made into 4 lanes min

Hey sports reporters,I’m not a sports reporter but I’ve done some writing and do some reading.
Can we get some variety in questions instead of “what does it mean… and how does it feel?”
