Shockingly, there are regular daily flights from Tel Aviv to Rome and other Italian cities, Paris, London, Vienna, Athens, and many more European cities. Thankfully, not to/from Ireland 🇮🇪 🇵🇸

Sanctions/blockades and economic sanctions will only work if the people that either actively or passively support these regimes are discommoded. If they’re still happily travelling and living ‘normal’ lives, how can their government feel the pressure?

Just back from holidays in Catalunya & I noticed 2 shocking things, given the current geopolitical situation: (1) Salou is full of Russian tourists - how are they getting in, and where are they flying from (2) How are flights from Tel Aviv still allowed into Europe?

Healthy Homes Initiative: Five-year outcomes evaluation - Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora The report highlights that the Healthy Homes Initiative has had a significant impact for over 200,000 referred whānau members, including children resulting in fewer hospital visits and trips to the GP...

Policy interventions can do amazing stuff. This newish analysis of the intensive Healthy Homes Initiative finds:
- 18.6% drop in hospitalisation, or about 10k/year. That's a small hospital.
- 5% drop in school absenteeism.
- Slight increase in wages.
