We’re in Wichita actually. Living right on the little Arkansas river. Quite an adventure. I do though want to make it up to Kansas City and my eldest boy is a baseball fan. And it’s definitely the sport most appreciate watching- would love to plan that.

Simple Monday supper:
Roast of pork loin with bacon, white wine reduction
Ragout of puy lentils
Braised cabbage with dill (and more white wine)
Grilled homemade bread

Was fairly well received, save the lentil dish, which was only appreciated by half of our number

Added 10% of a local Kansas whole white wheat. Getting to know Kansas means embracing grain
