Had my first mental breakdown of this shit show last night. Hormones had a lot to do with it but overwhelming fear for the future of my children (one is special needs and the other is loud and proud LGBTQ+) was really the driving force.

Mine smell like old books. Not crusty moldy ones, but well loved and cared for books. Poor things spend a lot of their time being trapped and sniffed.

I use a great app called Moodflow that lets you track how you feel. It's so good for times when you feel like you've always been sad/anxious/whatever and will always be sad because you can look back and see that no matter what, it's temporary. It works best if you use it multiple times a day.

To everyone in the LGBTQ+ community and all my POC or immigrant neighbors, you are loved. You are wanted. Don't let the Nazis make you doubt your worth or your place in our society.
