Antonov Airlines An-124 coming in very early in the morning at East Midlands. Ideally, I wouldn't go for a backlit shot like this, but a spur of the moment trip at 7am meant I had to put up with whatever lighting I was given. All things considered, it could've been worse!

Thank you! Normally I wouldn't either, but the lighting was only getting worse so I figured I'd try it out on some standard traffic. I'm also a big prop blur fan so I need to work on panning for those too.

54 years ago today, the Ilyushin Il-76 flew for the first time! Conveniently, I caught this 'young' 16 year old airframe last week, so now I can make a birthday post for the aircraft 🎉

National Airlines Boeing 747-400 cruising at 34,000 feet above East Midlands Airport last Thursday

One of my personal favourite photos is of this Cessna Citation X, infront of an Indian Air Force C-17. I believe the C-17 at the time was transporting gold onboard, which made for a very heavy departure! Captured in September last year.

Shame this is being retired this year. It's a beauty!
