UNM politician and Tbilisi City Council member Zviad Kuprava has just been arrested over "calls to overthrow the state authorities." He’s been vocal regarding the October 4 grand rally, and in particular, he called for the disruption of the sham local elections process.

JUST IN: the regime has trumped-up an even heavier charge against Gela Khasaia: group violence leading to light damage to health, implying 4-6 years in jail.

Anyone who has seen or spoken to Gela knows how ridiculous this is.

Apparently, he’s been a big trouble for the regime.

There are mounting rumours / half-evidences that the Georgian Dream regime is preparing for something uniquely brutal for the grand October 4 rally.

Thea Tsulukiani states that in accordance with the “Parliamentary Commission,” the Constitutional Court will soon be addressed to ban the UNM and bar its politicians from political life.

Unsure if she actually means the UNM proper or all of us parties, but whatever.

Believe it or not, this morning, even so-called Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said Mikheil Saakashvili instead of Mikheil Kavelashvili. And didn't even notice it before a journalist.

And this is despite torture, extortionate fines, financial terror, imprisonment, sweeping crackdowns on communities, etc.

Once we crown it with victory, it will be a new global playbook of democratic resilience. 2/2.
