This morning (January 27, first time in 5 months!), I completed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 for the first time! A newer, extremely French game, it has an engaging story, beautiful visuals, and amazing music. Early game-breaking bugs and bad QoL decisions keep it from top tier.

This now permanent tradition continues for another year! While also quoting last year so you can peruse all the games I beat then, this is going to be a thread of every video game I complete this year (with thoughts on them) to help keep me playing and completing video games.

Extra rule that's now permanent: Time playing while running on my treadmill in the morning can count for either the previous day or current day! This way I'm not staying up too late the night before playing games and am too tired in the morning to exercise. Healthy motivation!

Rules are I have to play at least an hour of video games every day, though time spent playing between midnight and when I go to sleep in my bed can count for either the current day or the previous day. This accounts for extremely busy work days or family time during the day.

Special thanks to CSD 3, Battle Network 2, In Stars and Time, Metroid Prime 2, TotK, and E33 for being the sources of many video game days this year. As always, my New Year's Resolution (9th year in a row!) is to play more video games - at least an hour of them a day!

It's the new year, so it's time for my regular update on my yearly New Year's Resolution to play at least an hour of video games every day! This year, I succeeded on 334/365 days (91.5% success rate)! My 2nd best year, and that was with significant interference from the Pacers!
