1) The Bills play less base defense than any other team.
2) Denver was the only D with better pressure with 4 rushers than 5!

I didn't talk about this the night he passed away, but Ryno was one of my favorites as a kid. I kept one of his baseball cards in my wallet and still do, and I wore 23 on the @wbru.bsky.social softball team because it was Ryno's number.

Had this in the Almanac on Deebo Samuels pre/post pnemonia/Aiyuk injury splits:

Pre: 2.3 yards per route run out wide
Post: 0.9 while playing there more often

Pre: 3.1 yards per route run from slot
Post: 2.1

I don't know if I would say "wide margin" but it's probably the most important part of the projection, yes. I don't think people realize just how good that Eagles defense was last year compared to their offense in the regular season.

That is accounted for in the projections!

Washington over Philadelphia is my most counterintuitive projection for this season. However, I should point out that the Eagles are still very good! Also, this assumes that the Commanders pay Terry McLaurin and he plays this year.
