I’m at the place in this book, that end-of-the-middle transition to the closing chapters. Where the dismount really counts. I’m simultaneously treading carefully and excited to start the last act.

Had to get my eyes dilated for my appointment earlier today. My pupils haven’t looked like this since college.

Trying to get my words on this book in so I can work on edits later today. I can switch projects like this because the edits are for a contemporary romance while my WIP is urban fantasy so I can keep them separate.

Our prior favorite special occasion steakhouse adds a 20% fee to all dinners and NONE of it goes to staff. We’d happily pay that and tip another 5% for staff but the restaurant owner? We don’t go there anymore
