Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing? 2? Questions I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up. Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.

And so close to Nottingham. There’s also a nude swim in Edwinstowe, 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 18:00 to 20:00. It’s unrelated but there are overlapping users, such as David, the guy who started it all

There’s a good Facebook group about with related chat where people post when/if they go. It’s a small community of people who walk there regularly if not every day. Sadly I’m not as regular, but I try to go there if I can and have time, as it’s a good place to relax in nature
