I had just been dropped off at the airport when it happened, so I didn’t see the damage until I got home. But all my neighbors texted me to make sure I was okay, so I was mentally prepared for the reality of it.

My Honda Fit confronted a deer on the highway and lost. (Spouse was driving and is fine - yay for modern safety features!) For a car that was discontinued five years ago, the used ones are PRICEY. But I’m still getting another one.

Ordinarily the dog is very antsy in the morning, but today she’s staying close. I guess she missed me.

Back home after six days on Sint Maarten and although it’s chilly here, I have a warm little chihuahua under the blankets to keep me warm. ❤️

I'd use a steamroller, just leave a stain on the road. There's probably a couple of people I'd put under a steamroller, but I won't say who they are, otherwise when they see a steamroller coming their way they'll be on full alert. And steamrollers don't go very fast...
