we work from the office the same days every week so I literally can’t avoid him or make excuses for long and I really do not want to have the “in a romantic way?” conversation. we are colleagues. we talk about parking and whether there is milk on the fridge. I hate this so much

My hunch was correct. A guy from work stopped me after work and invited me for a drink. I made up an excuse about walking my dog but he continued walking with me and after 5 minutes of forced conversation he said “next time?” and I was like “😬 sure…😬”.
