I had an OC I was struggling to explain and then I realized that a kink would fit in nicely and explain everything succintly.

Been having a few bad days sadly, so haven't managed to do much progress on anything, but here are a few sci-fi UI geonodes I made for my geonode collection

Family update. My dad just notified me that he just finished the operation, they cut the tumor out. He's in pain, but everything else is fine.

I feel like a rock just fell from my back.

Every Kart Racer needs to have a character, or at least a kart option, where it's just the character keeping up on foot

SOMEHOW that fixed it. I have no idea what bullshit magic was going on but it now works. My guess is either that something weird broke on Steam's end and me submitting a support ticket notified them on it, or it took FIVE reboots to fix it rather than four.

I looked everywhere. Nothing even similar online. I tried reinstalling Steam, rebooting my PC, nothing. Asked around. Nobody knew WTF's going on. No path relevant to Steam was using any weird characters. Someone recommended trying to enable UTF-8 support in Windows anyway, on a lark.

So, weird thing just happened to me. #Steam refused to even start, it just gave me a bizarre unicode error that I've never seen before and couldn't google. If curious, this is the error. LITERALLY nothing changed about my PC setup since yesterday.

#Rimworld note: If your Pawns start Standing (i.e. failing to do a task) check if any of your Wall Lamps are damaged and covered by something

Apparently, due to some sort of combo of mods or even just vanilla, Pawns cannot repair Wall Lamps that have another building in the way but are still trying

Funniest part is I'm not even in the UK, neither in fact nor in connection lmao.

What makes me darkly chortle about this is that this sort of thing is EXACTLY the reason why Vshojo was originally setup the way it was.

Talents own everything, all marketing and design is theirs.

Which means that if the company goes weird they can just... leave and barely notice.

Revisiting Karic's GI gear. Still needs further development, but a lot of details have firmed up and I'm happy with the overall direction.
